About The Outlet at Cumbria Crystal

In the Outlet you will find crystal, with small departures from our ideal standard for Premium Quality crystal - this may include small bubbles or stone; weight, thickness, height, colour or dimensional variations. Glasses will not be chipped, cracked or unstable. They are just not quite 'the best of the best'.

When available, this crystal is sold at a fraction of the usual RRP, with savings between 35% & 80%. It is not made to order. If there is no stock it will not be visible on the website. In this case, check back again in the future to see if any has become available.

The story

On the outskirts of the market town of Ulverston, you will find Cumbria Crystal where furnaces roar, diamond wheels cut, and luxury crystal is lovingly crafted.

Achieving the standards we set is challenging. Due to the nature of traditional lead crystal and the mouth-blowing and hand-cutting processes, this is achieved only about half the time.

Outlet Products, despite not meeting the exacting Premium Quality standards, still demonstrates exceptional craftsmanship, timeless style & beauty.
