Although discontinued a few years ago, significant customer demand, due to being featured in the Netflix series The Crown, sees it return in 2023.
Grasmere is our most popular traditional pattern. It was designed by Lady Grania Cavendish, one of the original founders of the company in 1976, in classic Georgian style. You may recognise the collection used on set of the worldwide hit drama Downton Abbey. Its time consuming and complex design is achieved by using flute, mitre, diamond and olive cuts.
The Collection has featured in many films and period dramas as it beautifully embodies the essence of luxury living. Its recent popularity is enhanced after featuring in The Queen & every episode of the post-Edwardian era drama Downton Abbey.

Crafting exclusively by hand inevitably means that a small proportion of our products do not meet our standards to pass the rigorous quality checks required to be assessed as Premium Quality. These are classified as Slightly Imperfect or Outlet Quality. Slightly Imperfect products will have minor inconsistencies such as small bubbles, stones, slight discoloration, or subtle variations in size or weight. Customers for whom compromise is not an option should consider our Premium Quality alternative.

If your product must be handcrafted especially for you, we will be in touch to inform you of this and advise you of an anticipated delivery date. You will not have to wait any longer than 8 weeks if we do not have your order in stock, but we always endeavour to deliver to you much sooner than this.

I love my Grasmere goblets.
Our son and daughter in law bought us two of these glasses and I wanted to another four. We were coming to the Lakes and I called Cumbria Crystal and they recommended I bring a glass with me so we could marry it up with the ones we were buying. The guy that served us was so helpful ( I think he was new) and got us four matching glasses. Despite these being from the factory shop they look perfects. The only difference is some are slightly heavier than others but no one person holds two glasses in their hands.
My son collects the perfect Grasmere range and we buy them for them as presents, the design is really stunning as are the other ranges Cumbria Crystal make. Next time we visit the lakes I will book a tour.
I really like to modern style of the glass, its great quality and weighty which I like. My brandy tastes even better ! Friendly staff and good postage very well wrapped.

This is the second item from the Grasmere range I’ve bought (also bought the 12oz Whiskey Tumbler a few months ago) and they are very good quality. You can feel the weight of the glass & the cutting is outstanding. Customer service is also excellent, straight forward ordering and delivery was good.
I had a set of ten balusters and one was accidentally broken. Thank you for this very heavy and beautiful piece and my set is back to ten in total now,
