High above the little village of Bardsea, near Ulverston, stands the Bardsea Monument. The three-sided structure was built around 1770 on the site of the original Bardsea Hall and enjoys unparalleled views over Morecambe Bay and the Westmoorland Hills. This striking image was taken from the Sir John Barrow Monument, at the top of Hoad Hill, Ulverston which is next to Cumbria Crystal.
