A glass hook is being added by one of the Cumbria Crystal team to the top of a decorative bauble at 1200 degrees centigrade. As part of the training of the next generation of glassblowers, a process that takes around 15 years, Cumbria Crystal employs young graduates to deliver hands-on glassblowing experiences to the public. Colourful decorative baubles are a popular, educational, fun activity which helps to offset training costs and retain this heritage craft in the UK.

If we are unable to deliver your order in time for a special event, you will be given the option of a Commissioning Letter that can be gifted whilst waiting for your crystal to arrive.
