This classic crystal cocktail shaker supports an elegant silver plated lid, strainer and rim. These are hand made for Cumbria Crystal.
Launched in Autumn 2023 this cocktail shaker expands the every popular Boogie Woogie Collection.
While researching ideas for Boogie Woogie, designer Peter Ting found inspiration in Piet Mondrian’s Composition 10: Pier and Ocean; 1915, where verticals and horizontals create a rhythmic shimmer effect of light. Inspired by his passion for Jazz music, Mondrian continued his love of the vertical and horizontal rhythm and named his penultimate painting Broadway Boogie Woogie; 1942-43.

Crafting crystal exclusively by hand inevitably means that a small proportion of our products do not pass the rigorous checks required to be assessed as Premium Quality. These are classified as Slightly Imperfect or Outlet Quality. This crystal will have minor inconsistencies such as small bubbles, stones, slight discoloration, or subtle variations in size or weight. Customers for whom compromise is not an option should consider our Premium Quality alternative.

My husband loves his new glass, bought on behalf of my daughters for Fathers Day. I chose the smaller of the tumblers as he prefers a slender glass for a dram of whiskey rather than a great big tumbler. He says it’s the nicest glass he’s ever had.

Due to the size of my order, 40 pieces of stemware and a punch bowl, there so a few problems with customs on entering in the USA. I'm hoping this will be a learning experience for the team at Cumbria Crystal and they can alert other people that place a large order of what will be required. The items arrived safely and where all well packed. I could not be happier with my order. This IS the premier crystal stemware as far as I'm concerned.
