Commissioning at Cumbria Crystal | Gifting Options
Due to the traditional nature and heritage craftsmanship of Cumbria Crystal, we often do not hold stock and so cannot always get orders to you right away. The fact we handcraft your order, especially for you, means that it sometimes takes up to 8 weeks to deliver your order.
However, in situations where you wish to gift crystal but we are unable to deliver in time for a specific event, you can commission it instead.
What this means is you place your order as normal, stating in your order notes the date you require it for and that you would like a commission letter if we are unable to deliver for that date.
We will then send directly to you an official letter on headed paper, which you can pass on to your recipient, explaining that you have commissioned crystal for them with some extra details such as a brief history of the company and what they can expect.
