Did a glass making experience 5th Aug 2026 which was a gift to my friend for her birthday. We made paperweights.
The experience was fantastic we both had a great time.
Jaz was our instructor and she was excellent. Very knowledgeable, professional and friendly as where all the staff members we met.
I have just taken delivery of the paperweights and we are both delighted with the outcome. Will be going back to do a glass blowing bauble experience. Hopefully the shop will be open by then as it was being refurbished and closed to the public.
These goblets are destined to become a family heirloom. I’m so grateful that companies like Cumbria Crystal still exist in a world if cheap, mass produced and disposable. Thank you
I first got the wine glass which I absolutely love and the plan was to make a matching pair but I somehow ended up with the goblet but that’s nice too
So impressed with the dof Langdale Whisky tumbler I bought as a gift. Yes they are expensive so I got mine from the Outlet. I expected to be able to see an air bubble or 2 but I think it’s perfect! And soooo heavy - exactly what I wanted. Delivered fast too!

Love drinking out of these tumblers. When I broke one I had to replace it... and bought another two for good measure.
My husband has always craved a proper large whiskey tumbler in order to enjoy his favourite dram, alone or with a close friend….my gift of 4 12 oz tumblers is a dream come true, he just smiles from ear to ear when using and he says whatever whiskey he drinks in it, the flavour is improved beyond measure.
