Grasmere Double Old Fashioned (DOF) tumbler as used in the James Bond movie, Casino Royale. A larger sized whisky tumbler suitable for generous spirits with, or without, mixers and also soft drinks.
The Grasmere Collection shares its name with the famous village and lake in the English Lake District where the famous poet William Wordsworth once lived. Crafted in a classic Georgian style, the refinement and complexity of the design has stood the test of time and today remains the most iconic and popular of all the Cumbria Crystal collections.
The Collection has featured in many films and period dramas as it beautifully embodies the essence of luxury living. Its recent popularity is enhanced after featuring in every episode of the post-Edwardian era drama Downton Abbey. It's use by James Bond in Casino Royale has further increased its popularity!

After a very long time trying to find the perfect gift for my husband I stumbled on Cumbria Crystal.
The Grasmere Old Fashioned tumbler is so beautiful, particularly when the light hits the glass.
I have been informed, after many uses over the Christmas period it is the best tumbler to drink a single malt whiskey. And it made an appearance welcoming in the New Year 2025!
Will be buying more items from Cumbria Crystal later this year.

Beautiful glasses, nicely weighted in the hand. I have a collection of crystal glasses from a variety of manufacturers; but Cumbria glass have rapidly become my favourite. Although the Langdale is going out of production and in the future I may not be able to buy replacements for breakages, I bought a number to be my everyday glasses in the hope that they will outlast me! I also have glasses from other Cumbria designs and will buy from the company as an when needed.
I ordered a pair of Grasmere double old fashioned whiskey tumblers as a gift for myself for Christmas and was completely delighted, I have never seen a such a beautifully crafted glass and a absolutely delight to drink from from the weight of the tumbler and to the way the light falls and sparkles
