They have been creating and selling exceptional items of jewellery and silverware since 1866. Founded by Robert Kirk Inches and his uncle, James Hamilton, the business has held the accolade of Silversmith to Her Majesty the Queen for over 120 years, first being recognized with a Royal Warrant from Queen Victoria for their craftsmanship.

The Grasmere Collection shares its name with the famous village and lake in the English Lake District where the famous poet William Wordsworth once lived. I'm hoping this will be a learning experience for the team at Cumbria Crystal and they can alert other people that place a large order of what will be required. The items arrived safely and where all well packed. I could not be happier with my order. This IS the premier crystal stemware as far as I'm concerned.

I bought 2 Grasmere whisky tumblers. The craftmanship is beautiful and a lovely weight. Altogether a thing of beauty.

A heavyweight for the first few drinks but then your mind says 'yes', this is how a whisky glass should be. I bought one from the outlet and to be truthfully honest I can only see 2 minute bubbles, it's 95% of a new glass.
Difficulty with delivery which was terrible but the tumbler is superb and my son loves it
