Launched in Spring 2023 this stunning Gin glass forms part of the first non-geometric collection of hand-blown and cut crystal collection ever produced by Cumbria Crystal. The organic, floral theme is inspired by nature and hand carved into the crystal. As in nature, each and every piece is very slightly different.
The decorative floral coronet gently wraps around the glass bowl but also crawls across the foot of the glass in two places further reinforcing the conceptual connection with nature.
The stem has eight hand-cut flutes radiating from the foot up and into the base of the bowl adding an additional level of sparkle and luxury.
The generous proportion of the classic balloon-shape is an incredibly popular choice for a classic Gin and Tonic, but is equally appropriate for non alcoholic soft drinks.
The Copa-style glass originated in the Basque region of Spain in the 1700s. Gin aficionados will appreciate that the generous bowl capacity helps infuse the gin, ice and other fresh flavours to make an equisitly refreshing drink.

What is there not to love about handmade English crystal. I have been using Cumbrian English crystal for over 40yrs. My first pieces were sherry glasses in Grasemere pattern. I then treated myself to Grasemere champagne flutes. This crystal is timeless and I love seeing it on programs like ‘Downton Abbey’ I have so much Cumbrian crystal and use it daily. Recently I bought the apprentice Christmas baubles and got carried away buying 24. He limited edition 2024 champagne and Martini glasses, well I have bought so many as gifts for friends. If you do decide to buy Cumbrian crystal remember you are buying a bit of English history. A special shout to Tom and Nick ( well everyone really) this team is a team and the passion they have for this beautiful crystal
