Since the founding of Cumbria Crystal in 1976 the Grasmere Collection and especially the Large Goblet and Captains Decanter (illustrated here) has been some of the most sought after products. Designed by Lady Cavendish, one of the founders of the company, it has stood the test of time.These glasses effortlessly grace and heighten any wine tasting experience.
Seen in every episode of Downton Abbey since the first series and always featured these extraordinary wine goblets.

What is there not to love about handmade English crystal. I have been using Cumbrian English crystal for over 40yrs. My first pieces were sherry glasses in Grasemere pattern. I then treated myself to Grasemere champagne flutes. This crystal is timeless and I love seeing it on programs like ‘Downton Abbey’ I have so much Cumbrian crystal and use it daily. Recently I bought the apprentice Christmas baubles and got carried away buying 24. He limited edition 2024 champagne and Martini glasses, well I have bought so many as gifts for friends. If you do decide to buy Cumbrian crystal remember you are buying a bit of English history. A special shout to Tom and Nick ( well everyone really) this team is a team and the passion they have for this beautiful crystal
