Grasmere Double Old Fashioned (DOF) tumbler as used in the James Bond movie, Casino Royale. A larger sized whisky tumbler suitable for generous spirits with, or without, mixers and also soft drinks.
The Grasmere Collection shares its name with the famous village and lake in the English Lake District where the famous poet William Wordsworth once lived. Crafted in a classic Georgian style, the refinement and complexity of the design has stood the test of time and today remains the most iconic and popular of all the Cumbria Crystal collections.
The Collection has featured in many films and period dramas as it beautifully embodies the essence of luxury living. Its recent popularity is enhanced after featuring in every episode of the post-Edwardian era drama Downton Abbey. It's use by James Bond in Casino Royale has further increased its popularity!

I love the Grasmere collection. Very elegant and timeless. The champagne glasses are a perfect size and feel great in the hand.
Lovely design and excellent quality. Absolutely delighted with the wine glasses. A good weight, great sparkle in the light - beautiful.
Excellent quality, design, feel, and size. Shipping was quick once they had the items ready, but it did take several weeks to ship. Honestly since this is b-stock, I'm not even slightly annoyed by that delay. I will be buying more from Cumbria in the future.

I shouldn't have waited as long as I did to finally purchase. If these are the "outlet" items that did not meet the typical standards, then I wouldn't be able to tell. That just speaks volumes about Cumbria's attention to detail and standards, but not allowing the outlet items to go to waste.
Having bought some Cumbria Crystal before, and needing some additional glasses, by chance I saw the Mixology range and immediately order them. Delivery was quick and the glasses - with different individual patterns, are in keeping with the quality product that Cumbria Crystal supplies. All in all, we are very happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend them.

I spent an embarrassing amount of time looking for the right glass and this is it. Perfect in every way. Looks beautiful, the different glass surfaces feel great in the hand and the feel of the weight/heft is exactly right. I appreciate that the product details specified the weight—it’s a key aspect that I’ve found commonly missing in product details elsewhere.

Is it psychological when you enjoy a cup of tea from a china cup, probably, but it definitely adds to the experience for me. Likewise there is something about drinking a good whiskey from such a well crafted item such as this, with the glass catching the light (the way it does) and the heavy quality of it in hand. I thought I’d try a factory seconds one first and this alone is already quality with very few inclusions. My intention is to get a gold standard one next but hopefully combine it with a visit to the factory this year!. The quality is a testament to the team at Cumbria Crystal who clearly take a pride in their work. Thanks agin for such a lovely piece
I bought these for my husband's 70th birthday as he really enjoys drinking hie evening rum from a heavy weighted glass. He absolutely LOVES them, and we jokingly call him James Bond when we see him using them.
