Our most extensive wine glass collection is traditionally combined with other glasses from the Collection providing a complete solution for serving red wine, white wine, Port & Sherry: SW-005-GR
As there are four wine glasses in this collection the guidance below may be useful. The choice depends on whether you prefer a larger red wine serving, or more modest glasses:
Popular pairings: If two glasses are being considered the most popular combinations are highlighted in bold below.
LARGER: Large Goblet (red), Goblet (white/red); the Large Wine glass is then available for desert wines, followed by the smallest glass for Port and Sherry (SW-005-GR-FO)
SMALLER: Goblet (red), Large Wine (white or desert).
The Grasmere Collection shares its name with the famous village and lake in the English Lake District where the famous poet William Wordsworth once lived. Crafted in a classic Georgian style, the refinement and complexity of the design has stood the test of time and today remains the most iconic and popular of all the Cumbria Crystal collections.
The Collection has featured in many films and period dramas as it beautifully embodies the essence of luxury living. Its recent popularity is enhanced after featuring in every episode of the post-Edwardian era drama Downton Abbey. Its use by James Bond in Casino Royale has further increased its popularity!

Crafting exclusively by hand inevitably means that a small proportion of our products do not meet our standards to pass the rigorous quality checks required to be assessed as Premium Quality. These are classified as Slightly Imperfect or Outlet Quality. Slightly Imperfect products will have minor inconsistencies such as small bubbles, stones, slight discoloration, or subtle variations in size or weight. Customers for whom compromise is not an option should consider the Premium Quality option.

EU €30 for all orders, which includes all shipping, duties and taxes.

Standard collections full price items
Our products are handcrafted by our small team of artisans on a made-to-order basis. If your product must be handcrafted especially for you, we will be in touch to inform you of this and advise you of an anticipated delivery date. You will not have to wait any longer than 8 weeks if we do not have your order in stock, but we always endeavour to deliver to you much sooner than this. If we are unable to deliver your order in time for a special event, you will be given the option of a Commissioning Letter that can be gifted whilst waiting for your crystal to arrive. Please state in your Order Notes (which can be found on the Basket page) if you require for a certain date.

From first contact to the delivery of our tumblers the team couldn’t have been more helpful, professional and friendly. But the “icing on the cake”, for us, was how utterly easy Anton made having our glasses engraved. He sent us mock up pictures of how the glasses would look in different fonts.
We were absolutely thrilled when we received the glasses - how perfectly balanced they feel in our hands and how the crystal sings when you pour a dram of your favourite tipple.
As we were so thrilled with Cumbria Crystal’s friendly customer focus, the quality of the tumblers and the ease of having them engraved by Anton two days later we ordered a Boogie Woogie Grasmere tumbler and had it engraved for a friend.
I have been looking for port glasses for a while. I saw these come up and they were great value. I’m Lucky enough that work brings me to Cumbria so I picked them up and had a looking around the shop. Amazing as usual, I love the decanters with the stage sliver stoppers. One day!!
