Grasmere Gin Glass: SW-740-GR-FO
Our new style gin glass, this increasingly popular large balloon-shaped glass is ideal for a classic Gin and Tonic. The Copa-style glass originally comes from Spain. Called a Copa de Balon it originated in the Basque region of northern Spain and dates back to the 1700s. Gin drinkers will appreciate the capacity of the bowl which helps infuse ice and fresh flavours together whilst focusing the aroma for the nose. The elegant stem prevents your hand warming the glass and melting the ice too quickly.
The Grasmere Collection shares its name with the famous village and lake in the English Lake District where the famous poet William Wordsworth once lived. Crafted in a classic Georgian style, the refinement and complexity of the design has stood the test of time and today remains the most iconic and popular of all the Cumbria Crystal collections.
The Collection has featured in many films and period dramas as it beautifully embodies the essence of luxury living. Its recent popularity is enhanced after featuring in every episode of the post-Edwardian era drama Downton Abbey. It's use by James Bond in Casino Royale has further increased its popularity!

These are classified as Slightly Imperfect or Outlet Quality. Slightly Imperfect products will have minor inconsistencies such as small bubbles, stones, slight discoloration, or subtle variations in size or weight. Customers for whom compromise is not an option should consider our Premium Quality alternative.

I'm hoping this will be a learning experience for the team at Cumbria Crystal and they can alert other people that place a large order of what will be required. The items arrived safely and where all well packed. I could not be happier with my order. This IS the premier crystal stemware as far as I'm concerned.

I bought 2 Grasmere whisky tumblers. The craftmanship is beautiful and a lovely weight. Altogether a thing of beauty.

A heavyweight for the first few drinks but then your mind says 'yes', this is how a whisky glass should be. I bought one from the outlet and to be truthfully honest I can only see 2 minute bubbles, it's 95% of a new glass.
Difficulty with delivery which was terrible but the tumbler is superb and my son loves it

The best way to enjoy a G&T is within a gorgeous Grasmere Crystal Gin Glass. The qualify of the glass and the feel when held completely added to my drinking experience, it felt so wonderful and I am convinced my Gin tastes even more delicious.
Excellent quality as expected. Head and tails above other quality crystal that I have purchased. My wife to be looks with envy as I only bought one - I chuckle.
