This elegant Goblet is perfect for water or red wine/claret. It is the most popular stemmed glass in the Helvellyn collection: SW-022-HY-FO
This Goblet is the largest glass in the Collection. It is often paired with the Large Wine (SW-022-HY) which is ideal for either reds or whites.
Two other sized glasses are produced. These are available as Special Order items with a minimum order quantity of 6. They are the Small Wine (SW-024-HY) and Sherry glass (SW-025-HY).
Helvellyn is one of our traditional collections with its origins firmly rooted in Jacobean design. The elegant pattern of flutes and olives was designed by Lady Grania Cavendish in 1976.
This collection is favoured for formal dining & entertainment by most British Embassies, Consulates and Residencies around the world. As such it has featured in many films and TV series as it represents a timeless elegance and aspirational lifestyle.
The name Helvellyn shares its name with one of the most significant and spectacular mountains in the stunningly beautiful English Lake District National Park which is close to the Cumbria Crystal Factory.

What is there not to love about handmade English crystal. I have been using Cumbrian English crystal for over 40yrs. My first pieces were sherry glasses in Grasemere pattern. I then treated myself to Grasemere champagne flutes. This crystal is timeless and I love seeing it on programs like ‘Downton Abbey’ I have so much Cumbrian crystal and use it daily. Recently I bought the apprentice Christmas baubles and got carried away buying 24. He limited edition 2024 champagne and Martini glasses, well I have bought so many as gifts for friends. If you do decide to buy Cumbrian crystal remember you are buying a bit of English history. A special shout to Tom and Nick ( well everyone really) this team is a team and the passion they have for this beautiful crystal
