Selene Martini Glass(Factory Outlet Stock): BT-089-SE-FO
Inspired by Greek mythology, Selene is the goddess of the Moon. Also known as Mene, she is the daughter of the Titans Hyperion and Theia, and sister of the sun god Helios and dawn goddess Eos. She drives her moon chariot across the heavens and she is regarded as the personification of the Moon itself.
The design comprises 12 hand-engraved opaque ovals, representing the 12 phases of the lunar year, interspersed with polished verticals.

Crafting exclusively by hand inevitably means that a small proportion of our products do not meet our standards to pass the rigorous quality checks required to be assesed as Premium Quality. These are classified as Slightly Imperfect or Outlet Quality. Slightly Imperfect products will have minor inconsistencies such as small bubbles, stones, slight discoloration, or subtle variations in size or weight. Customers for whom compromise is not an option should consider our Premium Quality alternative.

What is there not to love about handmade English crystal. I have been using Cumbrian English crystal for over 40yrs. My first pieces were sherry glasses in Grasemere pattern. I then treated myself to Grasemere champagne flutes. This crystal is timeless and I love seeing it on programs like ‘Downton Abbey’ I have so much Cumbrian crystal and use it daily. Recently I bought the apprentice Christmas baubles and got carried away buying 24. He limited edition 2024 champagne and Martini glasses, well I have bought so many as gifts for friends. If you do decide to buy Cumbrian crystal remember you are buying a bit of English history. A special shout to Tom and Nick ( well everyone really) this team is a team and the passion they have for this beautiful crystal
