I bought two of these for a specific function: to hold lemon wedges when serving home-made Schnitzels to Dinner guests on special occasions. They are fabulous additions to the Dining Table layout, but also as a very sublime receptacle for tempting pre-Dinner snacks with aperitifs or for chocolates to accompany coffee and digestifs following the meal; a really valuable addition that raises the whole experience.
More versatile than I had even expected! it looks wonderful with a posy of dark leaves and pale/pastel/fragrant flowers as a centre-piece during the Spring and summer months, but also looks fabulous with a large scented Tea light in it in the Autumn and Winter, especially if standing on a mirrored or glass stand decked with appropriate leaves and berries or mini baubles. Is one enough I as myself? Whatever, it is better than I'd imagined.

The 12oz Grasmere is simply stunning. It feels much larger than a 12oz glass and fills up my hand. I love enjoying Scotch in this glass.
Well, I say little. Compared to the substantial and heavy DOF Cumbria glasses than fill your hand, the Grasmere 8oz feels dainty in comparison. Exquisitely made glass that I find myself using as an everyday drinking glass rather than just for special occasions.
I wanted one of each of the Cumbria whiskey glasses and can’t decide which I like best. I love them all! Very high craftsmanship and very heavy!
This, like all Cumbria whiskey glasses I’ve tried, is very heavy. The glass is flawless to my eye and people usually comment on them when we sit down for drink.
