Grasmere Double Old Fashioned (DOF) tumbler as used in the James Bond movie, Casino Royale. A larger sized whisky tumbler suitable for generous spirits with, or without, mixers and also soft drinks.
The Grasmere Collection shares its name with the famous village and lake in the English Lake District where the famous poet William Wordsworth once lived. Crafted in a classic Georgian style, the refinement and complexity of the design has stood the test of time and today remains the most iconic and popular of all the Cumbria Crystal collections.
The Collection has featured in many films and period dramas as it beautifully embodies the essence of luxury living. Its recent popularity is enhanced after featuring in every episode of the post-Edwardian era drama Downton Abbey. It's use by James Bond in Casino Royale has further increased its popularity!

I tend to hold a whisky tumbler with little finger under the base with forefinger and thumb around the middle . The knurling on the glass is perfect , so this and the comforting weight of the glass just adds to the enjoyment of my favourite single malt .

These glasses make any drink lovely to drink. The feel of the crystal while stroking your fingers around the glass is just a pleasure to drink from. Any one who has not drunk from a nicely shaped crystal glasses are missing out.

Bought as a gift for a devoted whisky drinker.. he loves it. Beautiful glass.
I like to collect whisky glasses - not a huge amount, but enough to rotate. I have some beautiful ones. General favourite is a Waterford Irish wolfhound glass. However, I’m absolutely delighted with the pair of Grasmere I bought. They are beautiful, great size and a lovely weight in the hand. Currently favourite glass and think it will remain so for a while. Bonus I got both in sale, but they are more than worth the full price. Fantastic craftsmanship which will make me look at Cumbria’s other offerings. Couldn't be more delighted. Thank-you Cumbria Crystal!
