Each year Cumbria Crystal invites a post-graduate students from the Royal College of Art, Britain's most famous art & design college, to work with our master cutters & learn to design and cut crystal using traditional processes. These glasses are the outcome of this collaboration.

What is there not to love about handmade English crystal. I have been using Cumbrian English crystal for over 40yrs. My first pieces were sherry glasses in Grasemere pattern. I then treated myself to Grasemere champagne flutes. This crystal is timeless and I love seeing it on programs like ‘Downton Abbey’ I have so much Cumbrian crystal and use it daily. Recently I bought the apprentice Christmas baubles and got carried away buying 24. He limited edition 2024 champagne and Martini glasses, well I have bought so many as gifts for friends. If you do decide to buy Cumbrian crystal remember you are buying a bit of English history. A special shout to Tom and Nick ( well everyone really) this team is a team and the passion they have for this beautiful crystal
