Ambleside is one of the original Cumbria Crystal collections and is named, as all the early collections were, after lakes and mountains from the local area.

Crafting exclusively by hand inevitably means that a small proportion of our products do not meet our standards to pass the rigorous quality checks required to be assessed as Premium Quality. These are classified as Slightly Imperfect or Outlet Quality. Slightly Imperfect products will have minor inconsistencies such as small bubbles, stones, slight discoloration, or subtle variations in size or weight. This collection is particularly prone to the inclusion of small bubbles as there is no opportunity to remove them through cutting.

This is my second purchase from this company and the product qualitie is top-notch. The different colors you see in the refractions of the crystal are beautiful. You just get this feeling when you’re drinking out of these glasses that you don’t get from a regular whiskey tumbler

and one of the recipients loves it as well. the remaining glass is packed up ready for a birthday in July
Great Decanter but the comms from the company are limited and delivery can take a while, it would be better if CC communicated better to set expectations.
I now have 3 Grasmere glasses

Recently had to replace one of these due to breakage sadly. Best crystal ever. Service is excellent and they always arrive beautifully packaged.
I have had these crystal glasses for many years now, champagne, wine, whisky etc. They are a delight to use. Sadly we have had a couple of breakages recently, hence the need to purchase more. They always arrive beautifully packaged. Well done Cumbrian crystal.

I have always tried to purchase goods made in U.K and that and the quality
of crystal products made me choose Cumbria Crystal. The Manhattan Glasses are a design I like, the glasses are crystal clear, the glasses have a good weight and stand steady on surfaces and a pleasure to drink from. These glasses are not fragile and this gives me confidence in using them.
What a stunning glass which I am happy I bought. After finding Cumbria crystal I have been lusting after one of these glasses for some time and couldn’t wait for my birthday so treated myself.
